The remarkable terroir of the Simpson Estate vineyard is complemented by the expertise and efforts of our award-winning viticulturalists and winemaker team to produce some of the Margaret River Wine Region’s finest wines.

The fruit was hand-picked and hand-sorted, chilled overnight and gently whole bunch pressed straight to 40% new light toast French Burgundy barriques and puncheons for 8 months.

A pale straw colour with lime green hues. The nose exhibits aromas of citrus, lime curd, green apple and freshly picked cashews.

On the palate, we see lovely lime tart flavours, daikon, with saline minerally acidity, tightly wound.

This exceptional wine unfurl nicely over up to 10 years of cellaring from bottling.

The 2018 vintage benefited from what is regarded as the most ideal ripening season in Margaret River’s history. The hand-picked fruit, comprising 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot and 8% Malbec was matured in 44% new French oak barrels for 18 months.

A dense mulberry colour, the nose present aromas of violets, blackberry and cedar. The wine is concentrated but elegant, with beautiful tannins and length. The palate displays flavours of blackberry, mulberry, mocha and spices, including cinnamon bark.

This remarkable wine will reward appropriate cellaring for at least 15 years.

The hand-picked fruit, comprising 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 4% Malbec, which was matured in 44% new French oak barrels for 18 months. A lovely deep mulberry red colour in the glass, the nose presents aromas of blackberry, mulberry, dark cherry and cedar. The medium-bodied palate has flavours of blackberry, cherry kirsch and dried herbs. The oak flavours deliver notes of vanilla and mocha. The palate presents incredible length and silky smooth tannins.

Enjoy cellaring for up to 15 years from bottling.

The hand-picked fruit comprised 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot and 1% Malbec, which was matured over 19 months in 40% new French oak. The nose displays black fruits and mulberry, complemented by tobacco, cocoa and cedar. The palate presents thick layers of ripe tannin, ripe mulberry, tobacco and dried mint, on a long, elegant finish. Drinking wonderfully at bottling, this wine will reward cellaring for many years to come.

A slightly cooler and wet March enabled a longer ripening season in 2015, resulting in another excellent vintage. The hand-picked fruit comprised 92% cabernet sauvignon and 8% merlot, which was matured over 19 months in 40% new French oak. The nose provides dense fruit and some earthy tones, with mulberry, cassis, mocha, dried bay leaf, cardamom and cigar box evident. The palate presents rich, dark fruits, including dried plum. The wine is of fine, dusty tannins, well integrated oak and a long, elegant finish.

The hand picked fruit is a Bordeaux-inspired blend of 68% cabernet sauvignon and 32% merlot, seeing 18 months on 43% new French oak. The nose is of ripe blackcurrant, cedar, violets, chocolate, dried and choc mint and charry oak.

The wine has a complex palate, great balance, full and chalky tannins, with creamy vanilla oak and a long finish. Lovely mid-palate juiciness is obtained from the merlot. Drinking superbly at bottling, this fine wine will only improve with good cellaring until at least 2030.
